What is JBS Urja?
JBS Urja Pvt. Ltd, an undertaking of Jeevan Bikas Investment Pvt. Ltd., started its operations from 17th August 2014. It has been set up with the goal of providing permanent solutions for the problems of light and cooking faced by the rural communities in Nepal. The use of kerosene, oil lamps, and the traditional three-stone-fire in rural communities has made rural life miserable. JBS Urja attempts to bring a revolution in their lives through the introduction of solar lighting systems and clean cook-stoves. JBS Urja assembles, markets and sells quality clean energy systems such as solar energy systems, biogas digesters and improved cook stoves at reasonable prices and provides quality after-sales customer service. After installation, these products serve for a relatively longer period of time. Clean energy products can improve people’s lives and alleviate poverty as well as contribute to a sustainable future.
